# Account Email Addresses

Each Pipekit account has one or more email addresses. The default address receives account notifications and password resets.

## Adding an email address

Go to your user settings and find the `Emails` section. Enter the address in the `Add email Address` field and click `Add`.

Pipekit sends a verification email to that address. Open the link in the email to verify the address. The address is listed as `Pending` until you do.

## Resending a verification email

Find the address in the `Emails` list and click `Resend`. Pipekit sends a new verification email.

Each verification email carries its own link. The link in the previous email stops working once you request a new one, so use the most recent email.

## Choosing a default address

Only a verified address can become the default, so the `Default email address` list holds verified addresses only. Verify a new address first, then select it and save.
